:) Thanks Me Minxie and Shakes - just something I thought I'd share on the subject of Johnny that I felt was at least interesting. It happened so long ago, back when I didn't know who Johnny Depp even was and was too young to appreciate him as an actor. Looking back its really cool now :)
I wish I had appreciated it more as a kid - but I hear it was a closely guarded and very closed set. Ah well...at least I get to say I saw that castle firsthand - high atop a Florida hill ;)
Hi Captain!! Well this will top many a childhood memory!! Nice pix!! We had a few buildings (grocery stores) that were similar...one was torn down and turned into a Border's Bookstore, the other is now a furniture store.
I thought for sure most of this movie was made on set...and it wasn't! So places like that really do exist. LOL Tim Burton is one of my fav directors...love his style, storytelling and direction.
Thanks for sharing that really really interesting blog...ES was a good one and I still like to watch it once in a while. Now mate, when I do...I'll think of your blog.
